1. Introduction
Welcome to The Battle: Cancer Project ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing our website, using our services, requesting support, or volunteering with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Purpose
The Battle: Cancer Project provides structured volunteer support for cancer fighters and their families. Our services are free to those seeking support and are provided by volunteers. We do not offer medical, legal, or financial advice or services.

3. Eligibility
By using our services or volunteering, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or you have parental/guardian consent if under 18.

  • You are legally able to enter into these Terms.

  • You will provide accurate and truthful information when signing up for support or volunteering.

4. Code of Conduct
To maintain a safe and supportive environment, all users and volunteers must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Treat all individuals with respect, kindness, and empathy.

  • Do not engage in harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior.

  • Volunteers must not provide medical, legal, or financial advice.

  • Volunteers must adhere to their role expectations and ethical guidelines.

  • Personal information shared within The Battle: Cancer Project must remain confidential.

  • Any violations of these guidelines will result in removal from the program.

5. Privacy & Data Use

  • By signing up for support or volunteering, you consent to The Battle: Cancer Project collecting and using your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

  • Your personal data will not be sold or shared with third-party advertisers.

  • Your contact information may be shared within the organization (including volunteers and leadership) for support coordination purposes.

  • Financial transactions for donations are securely encrypted, and we do not store payment details.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • The Battle: Cancer Project is not responsible for any actions taken by volunteers outside their designated roles.

  • Volunteers may only visit hospitals, care facilities, or other public spaces with express permission from the patient and/or their family. Any volunteer who does so without explicit permission is acting independently and not as a representative of The Battle: Cancer Project.

  • Any volunteer who violates the code of conduct outlined in the Party Member Manual is no longer acting on behalf of The Battle: Cancer Project.

  • Any volunteer who is a fitness or healthcare professional and provides medical advice, prescribes treatment, or offers fitness guidance beyond general encouragement is violating the code of conduct and is acting independently.

  • Any individual who is a mental health professional and attempts to provide care, diagnosis, or therapy in that capacity is in violation of the code of conduct and is acting independently.

  • Any individual who claims to represent The Battle: Cancer Project while violating these Terms is acting independently, and their actions are not endorsed, authorized, or supported by the organization.

  • Any person engaging in any of the above violations is solely liable for their actions, and The Battle: Cancer Project assumes no responsibility for their conduct.

  • We do not provide medical care, and all support is peer-based.

  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of any resources, advice, or guidance provided by volunteers.

  • We are not liable for any damages, losses, or issues resulting from your participation in our programs.

  • You acknowledge that all support is voluntary and provided in good faith.

7. Changes & Termination

  • We reserve the right to modify or terminate our services, volunteer roles, or Terms at any time.

  • If you violate these Terms or act against our mission, we may remove your access to our services.

  • Continued use of our services after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
