Transparency And Financials
Trust is earned, and part of the way we earn trust is by being completely transparent in our operations, and where donations are going.
Right now, all donations are used for:

Covering startup costs (website, domain registration, etc.)

Growing our volunteer network (e.g. paid social promotions.)

Building The Calmfire Inn into a true community hub. (e.g. utilizing Discord Nitro)

Legal filings and paperwork to achieve 501(c)(3) status.
Once we achieve 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, we will:

Begin partnering with assistance programs to expand available support.

Financial transparency and ethical management is something we care about. Once we secure nonprofit status, we promise to:

Publicly release financial reports annually.

List our operating expenses and how donations are allocated.

Share impact reports, so you can see exactly how your support helps.
In March of 2025, donations covered startup costs for website hosting and domain. Anything else gained has gone toward funding to achieve 501(c)(3) status.
